170 kg of ghee allegedly made with palm oil and vanaspati seized at Ongole dairy
Police in Andhra Pradesh seized 170 kilograms of ghee from an Ongole dairy after alleging it was adulterated with palm oil and vanaspati. Authorities claim the dairy supplied the product to hotels, hostels and biryani vendors, distributing roughly 3,000 kilograms monthly. The seized samples have been forwarded to a Chennai laboratory for testing and further analysis.
