101 held in TGCSB’s six-State sweep, ₹17 crore cyber fraud trail uncovered
Police in Telangana’s cyber crime bureau conducted a six‑state operation, dubbed ‘101’, that uncovered a ₹17 crore fraud scheme. Investigators identified a network of mule accounts, linking 1,172 cyber‑crime participants, including 206 in Telangana. Authorities say facilitators received commissions of up to five percent for moving the illicit money. The probe also revealed that the commissions were allegedly paid to those routing the funds.
