About 76% voter turnout in Nagaon Lok Sabha bypoll
In Nagaon, Assam, a recent Lok Sabha by‑poll reported a voter turnout of about 76%, according to election officials. The figure is expected to rise because voters who entered polling stations before 5 p.m. were still permitted to vote. The by‑poll was held to fill a vacancy after the previous MP resigned.
