Ernakulam district administration directs AWHO to take over Chander Kunj apartments from October 12
Ernakulam district officials ordered the AWHO to assume control of the Chander Kunj apartment complex starting Oct. 12 after the organization missed a hand‑over meeting on Oct. 5. AWHO said it needed approval from its Delhi headquarters. The district will soon sign a demolition contract with Mumbai firm Edifice Engineering to clear the site to facilitate redevelopment.
