Deleted in SIR, four Bengal men now locked at Chhattisgarh detention centre for over a month
Four men from West Bengal, whose identities were removed from a State Information Report, have been held in a Chhattisgarh detention centre for more than a month. Their families filed a petition with the Calcutta High Court seeking their release. The court questioned the state government, asking what the appellate authority would do if the officials claimed the men were not Indian citizens.
