Paramount completes $111bn acquisition of Warner Bros to form new media empire Skydance
Paramount has finalized a $111 billion deal to acquire Warner Bros., creating a new media conglomerate called Skydance. The merger brings together film studios, HBO Max, CNN and CBS News under one umbrella. David Ellison, Paramount’s CEO, and former Mattel chief Ynon Kreiz will jointly run the combined operations as co‑executives. The deal is expected to reshape the entertainment landscape and expand content distribution.
