Eight persons, including former chief of Manmul, arrested in ₹3 crore milk powder scam
Police have detained eight individuals, among them a former chief of dairy cooperative Manmul, in connection with a ₹3 crore skimmed milk powder fraud. Investigators say purchase officer Pradeep Kumar Jadhav collaborated with former chairman Shivakumar to divert the product and sell it privately. The arrests were made following a probe by authorities. The case is being pursued under anti-corruption statutes.
