GHMC town planning official caught taking ₹4 lakh bribe, ₹2.5 lakh unaccounted cash seized
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) town‑planning officer Tulasiram Sunitha was arrested after investigators say he demanded eight lakh rupees to ignore a speaking order from the deputy commissioner, allow a complainant to continue a building project and prevent further harassment. Police seized 4 lakh rupees as a bribe and an additional 2.5 lakh rupees of unaccounted money.
