UK regulator FCA to investigate how it handled Epstein whistleblower who took his own life
Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority announced a probe into its treatment of a whistleblower who later died by suicide. The whistleblower, banker Simon Andriesz, had provided information alleging connections between the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and former U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The FCA will overall review its procedures and response to the disclosures.
