
India-UAE joint military exercise begins in Uttarakhand; focus on mountain warfare
India and the United Arab Emirates have started a joint military drill in Uttarakhand from October 5 to 18. The exercise seeks to improve interoperability and cooperation between the two armies, with a particular emphasis on mountain warfare tactics. Both sides aim to share knowledge and strengthen operational coordination in challenging terrain. During the 14‑day period, troops will conduct joint patrols and exchange best practices.
