Daryz’s Arc reputation secure but retirement would rule out folk-hero status
Daryz’s back‑to‑back wins at the Arc are a rare achievement, yet his owners are considering retirement. While the victories secure his reputation, ending his career would prevent him from becoming a folk‑hero. Concerns over age and injury risk drive the decision, balancing the horse’s welfare against the legacy he could leave behind. This decision will be closely watched by racing fans worldwide.
