Probe sought into 379 tribal children losing ICDS benefits over face recognition issues
Activist Thampu has called for an investigation after 379 tribal children were denied Integrated Child Development Services benefits because facial‑recognition verification failed. He also urged the government to provide monthly nutrition kits and a pension for those with sickle‑cell anaemia, ensure prompt support under the Janani Janma Raksha Yojana, and raise the Tribal Plus employment quota to 150 days.
