Hyderabad airport bags National Energy Leader award for eighth consecutive year
Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been honored with the National Energy Leader award for the eighth straight year, recognizing its sustained efforts in energy efficiency and renewable initiatives. The award, presented by the Ministry of Power, highlights the airport’s implementation of solar power, LED lighting, and waste‑heat recovery systems, which together have reduced its carbon footprint and operational costs.
