High Court orders CBI probe into corruption charges against individuals linked to AAP government
India’s High Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to examine corruption allegations involving officials associated with the Aam Aadmi Party‑led Punjab administration. The court’s order follows a petition that accuses senior state officers of participating in schemes that allegedly exchanged cash for transfers, policy favors and tender awards. Opposition parties have criticised the AAP’s stated zero‑tolerance stance.
