Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0: ₹30,156 crore to give drinking water to 90 lakh homes in two years, says Naidu
Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0, allocating ₹30,156 crore to provide piped drinking water to 9 million households within two years. He and actor‑politician Pawan Kalyan inaugurated the Amarajeevi Jaladhara scheme in Proddatur. Naidu also accused rival chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of benefiting from the Vivekananda Reddy murder case and related alleged scams.
