
Aaditya Thackeray to join Pune MPSC protest, backs demand for chairperson’s exit
Aaditya Thackeray announced he will attend the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) protest in Pune on October 6, after speaking with activist Vivekanand Patil. He said he will sit with the student demonstrators and backs their call for the removal of the commission’s chairperson. Thackeray, who serves as Maharashtra’s minister for tourism and environment, said the students’ grievances include alleged irregularities in the recruitment process.
