Forest Department intensifies efforts to track animal involved in killing daily-wage worker in Hasanur
Forest officials in Tamil Nadu have stepped up efforts to locate the animal responsible for killing a daily‑wage laborer whose partially eaten body was discovered near a stream on the edge of the Hasanur range of the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve. The department said teams are deploying camera traps and patrolling the area to identify the culprit, suspected to be a tiger.
