Muziris to be made international heritage tourism destination, says Satheesan
Muziris, a historic trade port in Kerala, is slated to become an international heritage tourism destination, according to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The government plans to enhance water‑taxi and kayak services to nearby sites such as Ezhikkara, Kottappuram and Azheekode. These upgrades aim to boost visitor access and preserve the region’s maritime heritage for tourists.
