Samyukt Kisan Morcha rejects rabi MSP, demands revision
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has rejected the government’s latest rabi crop Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat, arguing the ₹25 per quintal increase is insufficient. The union’s statement notes that the rise equates to only 25 paise per kilogram and highlights the disparity between the price hike and the government’s diesel purchase commitments. SKM calls for a revised MSP that better reflects farmers’ needs.
