Former security camp in Bastar now serves as hostel for tribal schoolboys
An old military training camp in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, has been converted into a boarding facility for tribal students. The site now hosts two sections: a hostel for 100 pre‑matriculation boys from Scheduled Tribes and a separate area for 50 senior‑class students. The transformation aims to improve education access for local tribal communities in the state’s remote districts.
