CPI(M) appoints veteran leader Chenthamarakshan as district secretary in Keralam’s Palakkad
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has named veteran politician Chenthamarakshan as the new district secretary for Palakkad, Kerala. He replaces former legislator E.N. Suresh Babu, who was removed after criticism of the district’s leadership for factionalism, rebel activity and poor election results. The change follows a period of instability within the party’s local unit.
