EC explains new ERONET options for SIR notice disposal to EROs through demo video; no written instructions yet
The Election Commission (EC) has unveiled new options for Election Returning Officers (EROs) to dispose of SIR notices without requiring written submissions or hearings. These options were introduced during the middle of the third phase of the SIR notice exercise. They are not yet available in 22 states and union territories where the exercise has finished.
