BJP using SIR as a tool of electoral genocide, says Prakash Raj
Actor‑politician Prakash Raj accused the ruling BJP of employing the Social Identity Register (SIR) to disenfranchise voters, calling it an "electoral genocide." He claimed that more than 130 million voters have been removed from the electoral roll through existing laws and government agencies, asserting that these individuals retain fundamental rights despite being excluded from the legal voting list.
