Costa’s coffee shops return to profit with iced drinks and matcha on the menu
Costa Limited announced it has returned to profitability, posting an operating profit of £20 million for the year ending 31 December 2025. The turnaround follows a £13.5 million loss in 2024 and is attributed to new menu items such as iced beverages and matcha drinks, which boosted sales across its coffee shop network. Analysts say the menu refresh helped reverse the previous year's decline.
