Women given free cycling shorts to prevent upskirting on Oktoberfest amusement ride
Following a probe that found thousands of voyeuristic recordings taken on the Teufelsrad—known as the Devil’s Wheel—at Munich’s Oktoberfest, event officials started providing free cycling shorts to women who ride the attraction. The shorts are intended to reduce the risk of upskirting by covering the upper legs, thereby enhancing privacy and safety for festival attendees on the popular amusement ride.
