Work on organ transplant institute in Kozhikode to be completed in 30 months, says Satheesan
Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan announced that a new organ transplant institute in Kozhikode will be built on a 20-acre site in Chevayur, with a budget of ₹271 crore. Construction is expected to finish within 30 months. The facility will consolidate all organ transplantation services, aiming to cut surgery costs to about one-third of current levels.
