Smart metering: KSEB upgrading its testing and metering labs
Kerala’s electricity board, KSEB, announced upgrades to its testing and metering laboratories to support the rollout of its Smart Metering Project. The first phase will see the installation of 300,000 smart meters across the state, aiming to improve billing accuracy and grid management. The lab enhancements will enable calibration, certification and quality checks for the new devices.
