Retired DGP R. Sreelekha quits as councillor in BJP-led Thiruvananthapuram Corporation
Retired Director General of Police R. Sreelekha has stepped down from her role as a councillor in the Thiruvananthapuram municipal corporation, which is governed by the BJP. Mayor V.V. Rajesh confirmed receipt of her resignation, noting that she cited personal inconvenience as the reason. The mayor added that further discussions on the matter are in progress.
