Kerala’s child rights panel has filed a suo motu case over safety lapses at the State School Games in Thrissur after a roof collapse injured several students and accompanying parents. The commission has asked the education department, police and child‑protection officials to submit detailed reports on the incident and to recommend corrective measures.
