Vande Bharat crosses Chenab, Anji bridges at 100 kmph as Katra-Banihal train speed limit raised
India’s Vande Bharat Express, operating as train numbers 26401 and 26404, set a new benchmark on the Katra‑Banihal line after the speed limit was increased. The train traversed the Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge, and the Anji Bridge, India’s inaugural cable‑stayed railway bridge, maintaining a speed of 100 kilometres per hour during its scheduled run.
