Four Aland police personnel suspended over alleged lapses in PDS rice seizure
Four police officers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Aizawl district were suspended after a vehicle seized rice on September 28. The seizure followed a tip received via the 112 emergency line. District authorities ordered the suspension pending investigation. The rice was meant for the Public Distribution System. Police said they acted on credible information in the region.
