Mullvad – Shutting down our public encrypted DNS
Mullvad, a privacy‑focused VPN provider, announced it will discontinue its public encrypted DNS service. The DNS service, which offered DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS, had been available to anyone. Mullvad cited resource constraints and a shift toward focusing on core VPN offerings. Users are advised to switch to alternative DNS providers to maintain privacy and security.
