State School Games swimming events postponed after accident at venue in Thrissur
Heavy rain and wind caused roofing sheets at the Aquatics Complex in Thrissur to detach and fall, injuring several schoolchildren during the State School Games swimming events. The incident led officials to postpone the competitions. Parents criticized the sudden delay, while student and political groups, including AISF, BJP and SFI, protested what they described as inadequate safety arrangements.
