Allahabad HC to hear suo motu PIL on noise pollution after student’s death
The Allahabad High Court has agreed to hear a suo motu public‑interest petition addressing noise‑pollution concerns after a seven‑year‑old student died at Balrampur school while a nearby procession with loudspeakers and a music system passed. The court noted that, as of now, no direct connection between the noise levels and the child’s death has been proven.
