In Srikakulam’s Burja mandal, aid has been delivered to 720 families affected by recent floods, with rice and essential supplies sent to five villages where more than 3,000 acres of crops were damaged. The district’s MARKFED director urged state authorities to promptly release an input subsidy to support farmers’ recovery, while repairs on the Allina causeway were completed.
