The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has launched the National PNG Drive 3.0, as part of the government’s effort to expand piped natural gas access. Its goals include establishing 5 million additional piped connections, converting 4 million currently unbilled connections into paying customers, and enrolling another 5 million users, all to be achieved by the close of the 2026‑27 fiscal year.
