G.P. Talwar at 100: scientist, institution builder, lifelong researcher

Dr. G.P. Talwar, a centenarian scientist, joined AIIMS New Delhi as part of its founding faculty and has remained active in laboratory work. He created the first global leprosy vaccine, a hormonal contraceptive vaccine, and established India's inaugural immunology institute. Over his career he has guided hundreds of students and continues research as he enters his second century.
