Kerala’s government hospitals are facing a shortage of medicines for non‑communicable diseases after the Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited delivered only the first‑quarter stock. The scheduled second‑quarter distribution in June was not made, leaving several essential NCD drugs unavailable in public facilities, and have prompted concerns among health authorities.
