UK airlines to be banned from charging parents to sit with children
The UK government plans to prohibit airlines from charging parents for seat upgrades or extra seats when traveling with children. The move, part of Prime Minister Rishi Burnham’s effort to curb small fees that accumulate, will apply to all domestic carriers. Airlines will no longer be able to add charges for children sitting next to parents or for extra legroom.
