Delhi police expanded the case against alleged assailants by adding attempt‑to‑murder and SC/ST discrimination charges, after a protest by student activist Nishu Aazad at Parliament Street station over her father Sanjay Kumar’s alleged assault. Chief Justice Saurav Das promised the arrest of the accused within 72 hours. Police said they revised the FIR following hours of discussion.
