State accords administrative sanction for ₹100 crore for Kotipalli-Narsapuram railway line
The state has approved a ₹100 crore administrative sanction for the Kotipalli‑Narsapuram railway line, matching its pledge to cover 25 % of the total cost. Amalapuram MP Harish Balayogi said the funding will accelerate the project, originally conceived by his father, former Dalit Lok Sabha speaker G.M.C. Balayogi. The decision follows a plan to improve connectivity and is reduce travel time between the coastal towns.
