Ethanol blending a step towards diversification of agricultural sector: Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari highlighted that ethanol blending in fuel is advancing the diversification of India's agricultural sector. He noted that since 2022, approximately 40 million four‑wheelers and 200 million two‑wheelers have been operating on petrol containing ethanol, underscoring the growing adoption of bio‑fuel blends. The policy also seeks to lower oil imports and emissions.
