After hotels and clubs, PG kitchens come under the scanner of FSDA officials
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSDA) led a probe inspecting 64 pay‑and‑stay kitchens across several states. Of these, 23 owners received formal notices for violations, while a separate dining area was closed pending further checks. This action follows recent concerns about hygiene lapses in informal eateries, prompting stricter enforcement.
