Gurugram to freeze 71 builders’ accounts to recover unpaid homebuyer dues
Gurugram will freeze the bank accounts of 71 real‑estate developers to recover unpaid homebuyer dues. Major defaulters include Ansal Housing/Ansal Construction Housing (₹91 cr), Raheja (₹90 cr), Vatika (₹80 cr), Parsvnath (₹74 cr), Ramprastha (₹57 cr), IREO (₹24 cr) and ILD Millennium (₹8.59 cr). Builders received notices demanding payment of the outstanding amounts, part of a crackdown to protect buyers. The action follows complaints that payments were not credited.
